Codex Website Backups is a single-owner tool for preparing dated backups on a Mac, uploading them to a designated Google Drive folder, and checking what can be restored.
This website explains the utility. It does not accept uploads, offer public accounts, or run the backup workflow.

Prepare on the owner’s Mac
The owner selects project source, database exports, and archives. Dependency folders, caches, and redundant material can be excluded after review.

Encrypt and upload
Archive payloads are encrypted before upload. Google OAuth and rclone provide access to the owner’s Google Drive, with this workflow configured for one designated backup folder.

Inspect and verify
The utility lists or inspects backup objects and checks transfers, checksums, and restoration results. A backup is not assumed complete simply because an upload began.
Access boundaries
One owner. One configured destination.
The Google Drive permission granted through OAuth is broader than this utility’s configured folder. The folder setting is an operational boundary, not a Google-enforced folder-only permission.
The workflow is not a Drive-wide crawler and is not intended to read, change, or remove unrelated Drive files. Reviewed, non-sensitive summaries, manifests, or restoration documents may be stored as readable files alongside encrypted payloads.
OAuth tokens stay in private local configuration on the owner’s Mac. Private recovery-key material stays private; it is not uploaded in plaintext.
